Punchbowl News: “Democratic senators were uncharacteristically tight-lipped after the gathering, which lasted around 90 minutes. Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), Biden’s closest Senate ally, spoke up to defend the president, we’re told, and nobody advocated for Biden to step aside.”

“Instead, Democrats emerged from the meeting saying their conversations will continue and that Biden has a lot of work to do to unite the party around his candidacy.”
